Global operations
Traditional Japanese foods and beverages such as soy sauce, miso, sake, shochu, and various seasonings are now familiar commodities all over the world. With the objective of further spreading Japanese cuisine, we proudly launched our overseas operations. From our first exports to South Korea in 1967, we now export various types of machines and plants for use in the production of fermented products to more than 20 countries around the world, including the U.S., France, the Netherlands, Cuba, Brazil, and Thailand. For these international operations, we develop products that comply with the different food processing laws of each country and provide detailed technical guidance and other practical services. Our internationally recognized technological capabilities and systems for technical support form the foundation of our global operations.
As the requirement for food safety and assurance is rising around the world, we are convinced that the value of our company will continue to grow into the future. We have a technological capability that is unique not only in Japan but also in the rest of the world, and we intend to continue to make it available around the world.
